Recently, TTA was invited to teach at the “Intelligent Drone Technology Design Practice” offered by the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. The course theme was “DJI M3E/T Drone and TTA Computing Hashrate Control Application”. Students can participate in drone competitions by learning relevant knowledge, which is the implementation and application of the new classroom model of “competition course combination”.
The combination of drone competitions and teaching courses refers to an educational model that combines drone competitions with teaching courses. Introducing drone competitions into educational classrooms can stimulate students’ interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), train their innovation, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, maintain academic motivation, and form innovative awareness.
Integration of theory and practice, creating a unique curriculum
This training focuses on the content of drone competitions, covering comprehensive knowledge of DJI M3E/T drones and TTA Computing Hashrate, PSDK development and practical operation, and drone flight operations.
Drone operation and program development
Based on years of research and engineering experience, senior engineers from TTA provided lessons. Tsinghua University students were enthusiastic about technology, and through group discussions and careful research, they completed assembly and PSDK program development within the designated time frame, and conducted practical demonstrations.
TTA has specialized indoor training ground, which allows teachers and students to immerse themselves in drone control and verification.
Drone operation and practice
After the courses, students expressed that they had benefited greatly and learned a lot in a short period of time. They also needed to practice more after class, hoping to have the opportunity to learn more knowledge related to drone program development!
