Article 19 of the 2019 “Joint Press Statement by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand” (hereinafter referred to as the “China-Thailand Joint Press Statement”) states: “Strengthening education cooperation at all levels and in various fields through joint education, special program exchanges, academic exchanges, distance teaching, etc. to provide talent and intellectual support for the development and construction of the two countries”. Meanwhile, Thailand’s UAV industry is in the ascendant and can be widely used in many fields such as agriculture, construction, surveying, drawing, and firefighting.
In order to better implement the China-Thailand Joint Press Statement, China’s Belt and Road Initiative, Thailand’s Industry 4.0 Strategy and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Plan, and to train more people who understand Chinese, Thai and have the knowledge of UAV technology, all parties will strengthen and expand specialty education cooperation and industrial cooperation related to the subject of UAV with the new model of CCTE international education cooperation, and reach the following consensus:
On December 16th, 2019, Mr. Somchai Tumrongsuk the director of the Institute of Vocational Education Eastern Region and Ms. Zhao the director Tang Chinese Education led a 22-person delegation, visited Beijing TT Aviation Technology Co.Ltd and organized a meeting and exchange activity. Chairman Yang Yi attended the introduction of the latest development TTA Educational Training System——Introduction to UAV Smart Teaching. The two sides had signed a number of agreements on future Sino-Thai academic drone vocational education cooperation. It is hoped that all parties will form alliances, jointly promote the professional construction of UAV disciplines, connect industrial employment, and jointly promote the planning and implementation of cooperative projects.
TTA is responsible for the output of UAV professional courses and curriculum system. The both sides will, with joint effort, to form personnel training programs, teaching plans, training base construction, and carry out network teaching and face-to-face teaching in a variety of forms of professional education cooperation projects.
At the same time, all parties will jointly discuss the education cooperation related to UAV disciplines in EEC region under the CCTE model based on the principles of “mutual trust, respect, friendship, and mutual benefit”, jointly build the Thai standard of the UAV industry talent training system, including building data visual tracking platform, teaching management platform, VR teaching system and intelligent teaching tools, to cultivate relevant professionals in the subject of UAV and actively cooperate with related companies.
